Paksiw na Bangus Recipe

My husband loves paksiw but prefers a different kind of fish. My mom and I, however, love bangus. I haven’t really tried to cook paksiw na bangus so last night was my first time. To my surprise, it was easy. ­čÖé

What I loved about this is how I just put everything in and leave it to simmer until cooked. I, then, can do blogging in between. ­čÖé

Here’s how I cooked it:

1 Kilo Bangus, cleaned and sliced into pieces
4 pcs crushed garlic
1 whole onion, sliced into 8
1 1″ thick ginger, sliced
1 pc chili (pang sinigang)
1 eggplant, sliced
1 bitter gourd, sliced
1 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 to 2 tsp sea salt (depending on your salt level taste)

Directions:

1. Put all ingredients in a pot until cooked.
2. Serve and Enjoy!
